On October 14, Leipzig-based publisher Spector Books (German edition) and IST-publishing Kyiv (English edition) will publish the essay collection "We, who have changed" - in this anthology, Ukrainian cultural workers tell how Russia's attack on their country has changed their lives. In ten essays, the contributors describe how they left their homes and reinvented themselves intellectually and professionally. They talk about what it means to be a witness to war and try to share this radical experience with people outside Ukraine. The Cologne-based theater collective Futur3 initiated and coordinated the creation of this publication together with Bozhena Pelenska (Director of the Jam Factory Art Center, Lviv, UA).
Publisher Anastasia Leonova, editor Anastasia Platonova and author Kseniya Kharchenko will present the publication at the book premiere and the associated benefit for the non-profit organization Blue-Yellow Cross. The event will be moderated by Dorothea Marcus.
