Whether in the legions of the governor, on the walls of medieval Cologne or in the trenches of the First World War: it's dangerous for warriors when the enemy gets too close. What armor did the men use to protect themselves and what could even the best armor not protect against? You can get to the bottom of these questions with replicas and historical photos at the MiQua:forum in November.
