Marianne Rötzel

The sculptural work of Cologne artist Marianne Rötzel would fill entire books. We would therefore like to limit ourselves to her current figurations, the birds and the doll-like "laughing ones". She creates these not only sculpturally, but also as fascinating drawings. The artist has been working on various collections, groups and rows of birds for years. She is not interested in the masses, but in their individuality.

miegL

miegL has lived and worked as a freelance artist in Cologne since 1988. His work encompasses sculpture and painting as well as interdisciplinary projects. In creating his works, he succeeds in combining the old masterly and modern traditions of painting. In his paintings, we are presented with minimally pronounced, broken hints of people, animals and landscapes, which he sometimes reduces to their contours.
