Light is intangible, fleeting and unlimited. How does light become visible?

Hannah A. Hovermann has found a way to capture this ephemeral phenomenon on paper. Her works describe an "inner space of stillness" and at the same time appear full of energy. In up to 250 layers of highly diluted watercolor paint, color gradients flow across the paper in her works and make color vibrate like light phenomena.
The tension between the relativity of all our perceptions becomes tangible. In this immaterial effectiveness and in their lightness, the diffuse works made of
light manage to transport us into a spiritual momentum and sharpen our senses.
