Family play based on Michael Ende

On the outskirts of a town with many new housing developments, a little girl with a brown curly head lives in an old, dilapidated amphitheater - Momo. She doesn't have much except a very special gift: she is an excellent listener. This gift alone enables her to comfort people, settle disputes and give her friends, the tourist guide Gigi and the street sweeper Beppo, the feeling that they have found their place in the world. But one day, strange men arrive in the little town. They are dressed from head to toe in gray and smoke ash-grey cigars. These gray men are agents of the Time Savings Bank and they have come to wring time out of people. Everyone wants to save time. When Momo finally discovers the dark secret of the gray men, she decides to return the stolen time to the people. She gets help from the turtle Cassiopeia and the guardian of time, Master Hora. Thus begins an exciting race, not only against but also for time itself!
