The last Musethica session of 2024 will take place in the first week of December. Four talented young musicians from different countries - Jelin Lee, born in South Korea (violin), Alma Holm from Sweden (violin), Brian Isaacs from the USA (viola) and Inês Paiva from Portugal (cello) - will join forces with renowned teacher Natalie Clein (cello). Together they will play nine concerts a week at various institutions in Berlin, from daycare centers and special schools to prisons and hospitals. Performing classical music of the highest quality for people who rarely have the opportunity to experience a live concert is an essential part of the Musethica method.
At the end of the concert week, the musicians will give a public concert on Saturday, December 7, 2024 , which will also mark the end of the Musethica Year 2024. Admission is free of charge. The concert will take place at 19:30 in the Kiezraum on the Dragonerareal (access behind the tax office on Mehringdamm, 10963 Berlin)
Program:
Franz Schubert: String Quintet in C major D 956
Luigi Boccherini: String Quintet in E major op. 11 No. 5 (G 275)
