Improvisation is at the heart of Felix Hauptmann's solo program.
Hauptmann's solo program. The Cologne pianist draws on his unique compositional language
compositional language, creates new musical spaces and playfully

production of the Saarländischer Rundfunk. Since 2019 Hauptmann has been
lecturer for jazz piano at the University of Wuppertal.
In 2022 Felix Hauptmann will receive the Jazz Prize of the City of Cologne. From
April to June 2024 he was Artist in Residence of the City of Munich at the
Villa Waldberta in Feldafing. During this time, the new ensemble
SERPENTINE (feat. Jorik Bergman, Fabian Dudek, Evi Filippou, Ursula Wienken and
Wienken and Leif Berger), which performs together for the first time at the renowned
Munich to perform together for the first time. Since September 2024, he has been part of the
NICA Artist Development Program of the Stadtgarten in Cologne.
