Classical music

The Belgian mezzo-soprano Julie Phan began her vocal training in Brussels and then continued it in Namur (Belgium) at the Institute of Music and Pedagogy, where she also studied the flute. She completed her Master's degree in Lied and Oratorio with Raimund Nolte and Prof. Christoph Prégardien at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne and expanded her opera repertoire. She gained further musical experience with renowned teachers. Since October 2023, she has held one of the coveted places to study for the concert exam at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne with Prof. Kai Wessel. Since 2023, she has been included in the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Cologne sponsorship program. She also performs regularly with her trio "Sol'Aria" and as a duo with pianist Han-Lin Yun. In April 2024, she was awarded first prize at this year's Gen Re Music Prize.
The Taiwanese pianist Han-Lin Yun has been living in Germany for 9 years now.
Germany. During this time, she completed a master's degree in piano in Frankfurt
with Prof. Arnulf von Arnim, the concert exam in Dresden with Prof. Detlef
Kaiser and the master's degree in song interpretation and concert exam in Cologne with
Prof. Ulrich Eisenlohr as well as New Piano Music with Prof. Pierre-Laurent
Aimard. After these extensive studies, she regularly gives concerts
regularly as a soloist and in various formations and now teaches song
Lied composition at the Cologne and Saarbrücken music academies.
