Artist Chris Succo presents his latest artist book Muscle Memory, published by Distanz Verlag in 2024, at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf.

He then invites you to a preview of his upcoming exhibition Art Guitar at Ruttkowski;68.

Chris Succo (born 1979 in Düsseldorf, lives and works there) gained international visibility through the success of his series White Paintings, which was first shown in Geneva in 2013. He is primarily known for his abstract paintings, but also works with a wide range of media, including sculpture and photography. His works often originate from drawings, writing or calligraphy, illustrating the significant influences of poetry and music in his oeuvre. In this way, he explores the potential of abstract painting.

The artist's book follows on from the previous publication Blood and Chrome (2017) with new works from recent years. With texts by Seda Pesen, Marlene A. Schenk and Mounira Zennia.
