Nilipek. combines complex emotions with poetic lyrics in Turkish and her soft, haunting voice with arrangements that are as minimalist as they are captivating. The Turkish-born singer-songwriter, who now lives in Berlin, has been shaping Turkish alternative music since the release of her debut album 'Sabah' (2015). In May 2024, her long-awaited fourth album "Uydurduğumuz Oyunlarla" (translated: With the games we invented) was released, a 45-minute journey full of poetry, on which the political symbolism in the lyrics is combined with innovative musical arrangements and haunting melodies to create an extraordinary listening experience.

Her latest album elegantly demonstrates the musical development that Nilipek. has undergone since her debut. "Sabah" was described by critics as one of the best albums of 2015. Her two subsequent studio albums "Döngü" (2017) and "Mektuplar" (2020) marked a transformation towards louder sounds and created new ways of storytelling. Her radical cover version of the classic Turkish song "Gözleri Aşka Gülen" (2018) was followed three years later (2021) by another radical cover version of the cheesy pop song "Bir Gün Beni Arzularsan Gel". In the following years, she focused on collaborations and projects, such as "Castles" with French indie pop singer Oscar Anton and "Vazgeçtim" with Turkish producer Taner Yücel.
