Description,

Sonja Pregrad and a team of six dancers and singers from Zagreb and Bratislava explore the spectacle of plant life - the way plants spend their time, how their body parts move, how they flirt and reproduce, how they die.

One cannot observe nature and think that one will see it - understanding the playful and "artificial" position of us humans (and creators) who are both part of nature and in conflict with it. Rather, the plants become drag acts in the performance. They force the audience to look at them from a very close to a very distant place ... and overgrow the so-called fourth wall of the theater.

The movements that unfold in this performance come from different directions - sensory, affective, formal and historical, vocal and poetic - and conjure up an energetic geometry of this dance, which is also a poem to (plant) life.
