Offene Stationen der Community: Klassenkampf DIY

In the organizer's words:

Klassenkampf DIY - in addition to the stage and discourse program, there are various open formats for getting active, participating, exchanging ideas, but also for pausing, mourning or resting.
In reality, the public space is not so public. But we have different ways of claiming it! Whose Streets? Our Streets! At Festiwalla, we want to bring together the ways in which we can occupy space in a resistant and sustainable way - including simply resting and hanging out! There are four stations, material and music:

DRUCK! Screen/line printing with Theater X and Frauen machen Druck: Using our motifs from Festiwalla and other self-made motifs on the topic of class struggle, we will print motifs on T-shirts, bags, fabric or paper. Feel free to bring your own T-shirt, bag or fabric!

Xpress! Where better to chill out and connect than by painting banners together, making things and learning for your next action? Come along: make your own banners, stickers and stencils! Against the right, war and capitalism, for climate justice and a society for all. Here we get together and make banners for the next demo or our balcony. We'll make stickers for our notebooks or cell phones. Also come to learn from a graffiti artist how to share your artwork and messages visibly everywhere!

Commemoration with Grieving Doves: We come together and give ourselves space to share, remember and commemorate. This is also part of our community culture. Here we can dedicate ourselves to the individual people who are no longer alive and make them visible in artistic form and pay tribute to them. We write their names individually on fabric and put them together to create Grieving Doves, which we can also wear on the street.

Basket Beats! - Basketball, beats & your opinion! Workshop with the Basket Beats collective (Barcelona) in Spanish, with translation into English and German
Which paths do we take? Where are we welcome? How do we relate to our neighbors? Who is in public space and who is not? What is my place in the world? It's about our realities, struggles and desires for our streets and neighborhoods. What demands unite us and how much do we question the system? Beats, in a group, with basketball, in public space, with your opinion! Basket Beats brings it all into play. How? Come and find out!
