On The Road Again

In the organizer's words:

Poems are boring? And no one needs poetry analysis, except for A-levels?

We officially prove the opposite! Because poetry is everywhere: in songs, raps or at poetry slams, sometimes with rhymes and sometimes without. So that the most beautiful poems in the world no longer have to hang around in anthologies, we're bringing them to the stage. We bring the verses to life with sounds and moving image installations. And in this way, what are still just enigmatic strings of words become great stories of setting out and being on the move - both internally and externally. Together with the greatest poets of all time, we go "On the Road again".

Björn Hayer (born 1987) is a German scholar, lecturer in literary studies at the University of Koblenz-Landau, journalist, cultural critic and essayist for Die Zeit, Spiegel Online and the NZZ, among others. He has appeared as an author with volumes of poetry and essays.
