O'O + Cindy Pooch // Berlin

InFiné once again takes over the legendary Berghain in Berlin for another InFiné night! This time the focus is on voice and sound experiments.

Cameroonian-born singer-songwriter Cindy Pooch has been writing and exploring a wide range of music for several years: trip hop, soul, maloya... She was previously a performer for others before releasing her critically acclaimed first solo album "In Nomine Corpus" in 2023. Today, her artistic experiments are mainly motivated by the desire to use voice, words and sound impressions as tools to trigger or accompany healing processes.

The duo, made up of childhood friends Victoria Suter and Mathieu Daubigné, mixes experimental pop, electronic music and chanson in French and English. Victoria Suter, the band's singer, is often compared to artists such as Kate Bush, Björk and Little Dragon because of her unique vocal style. Mathieu Daubigné, the band's producer, places O'O in the tradition of acts such as Apparat or Floating Points. O'O's music is an innovative mixture of pop, electronic and chanson, and is appreciated for its imaginative vocals and precise production.
