No wonder Anna Prohaska chose the charismatic actor as the counterpart for her take on Shakespeare's fascinating Ophelia character. The unhappy lover has inspired many composers to create music, particularly in the field of song composition. Anna Prohaska's selection of songs thus meets Shakespeare's original text. A multi-layered dialog unfolds between Ophelia and Hamlet - a dialog between love and suffering, hope and despair, reason and madness.
