OPUS KLASSIK 2024

Great emotions, first-class music and world-class artists: on the weekend of October 12 and 13, 2024, Berlin will be transformed into the center of classical music when the prestigious OPUS KLASSIK is awarded. This year, Germany's most important classical music award will once again honor international classical music stars who inspire music lovers all over the world with their passion and virtuosity.

Experience top classical music stars up close when the prestigious trophy is awarded to numerous international stars and exceptional young artists from all over the world on October 13 at the Konzerthaus Berlin! Whether pianist Lang Lang and Gina Alice, cellist Gautier Capuçon, soprano Anna Prohaska, guitar virtuoso Marcin, violinist María Dueñas or Anna Lapwood, the "Taylor Swift of the organ": the festive OPUS KLASSIK Gala promises to be a glamorous event with a red carpet, impressive performances and an after-show party where the crème de la crème of the classical music scene will gather. The evening will be hosted by Désirée Nosbusch and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin will be conducted by Kevin John Edusei.

But that's not all: on Saturday, October 12, classical music fans can look forward to a star-studded concert at Kühlhaus Berlin. Enjoy an evening of special performances by up-and-coming artists and established greats: The line-up includes mandolinist Avi Avital, exceptional cellist Anastasia Kobekina and pianist and composer Alexandra Stréliski, one of the leading representatives of neoclassical music.
