Ostia - back then still under the name Itaca - set out to conquer Italy as a music duo.
Their romantic, euphoric synth-pop ignited DIY clubs, aperitivo bars and autonomous summer festivals, but was always a touch too deep and progressive for pure Italo pop nostalgia - closer to Human League and The Knife than Eros Ramazzotti. On their third album "EUROPOP", which is now finally being released, Ostia alias Lo Selbo (Sebastian Eppner) and Ossi Viola (Albertine Sarges) climb into the Fiat Panda and travel through a Europe where fears and doubts are in the air.
Itaca/Ostia have never sounded as dark, urgent and confrontational as they do here.

Dancing is still allowed. And great adventures await!

Album"I'll See My Way Out"

Areamanners is the name under which Berlin-based Uri Berger releases his music.

He found inspiration for his first album"I'll See My Way Out" in lo-fi bedroom pop, psychedelia and experimental electronics.
It tells of the challenges of human interaction, reward deferral, newspaper horrors and what our final years might look like.
The first single "Nod Yr Head" was released in summer 2024.

We are concerned about the rifts within the Berlin cultural scene caused by the conflict. We would like to see more dialog, more differentiation, more mutual empathy.
