M arina Schulze and Sabine Wewer have been working together on and off in different ways for over 20 years: They advise, strengthen and influence each other by working together in the studio, exchanging and painting from the same templates, each in their own visual language. They share an interest in organic structures such as roots and networks, growths, water surfaces and cloud motifs. They also continue to work on each other's pictures. The exhibition overlap - terra x will bring together the successive solo exhibitions of the artists. They will be guided by questions such as: To what extent do we want to differentiate ourselves from each other? Is there such a thing as too much? How fruitful is such an exchange? Do they benefit from this symbiosis, and what can become visible from this process in an exhibition?
