Solidarity - impulse and discussion with Dr. Jirko Krauss

Solidarity is often seen as the invisible bond that connects individuals to a common world. Where self-interest ends, responsibility for one another begins - and with it true freedom. To kick off the year, we want to explore the philosophy of this bond together.

A Philosophical Salon usually takes place on the last Wednesday of the month in the Budde House. The focus of the salons is on personal encounters between people and joint dialog and discourse - an open and tolerant culture of listening and discussing. It is an informal meeting to exchange existential, social, political and philosophical questions, ideas and problems. Participation in the salons is open to all interested parties and does not require a degree in philosophy, nor does it require any prior knowledge or engagement with texts.
