PLAY24 - Creative Gaming Festival

In the organizer's words:

The PLAY - CREATIVE GAMING FESTIVAL is the world's first and only festival that combines the fields of media art, discourse and education with the culture of digital games. We have been playing with games since 2007: Inventing, building, tinkering, modifying, programming, dancing, discussing - everything is allowed!

We are opening our doors for the 17th time from November 11 to 16, 2024 and invite all fans of gaming culture and interactive arts to discover the creative potential of digital games - online and hybrid on site at JUPITER Hamburg (Mönckebergstraße 2-4).

You Got the Power!
This year's PLAY - Creative Gaming Festival is all about games and politics. How can digital games bring socio-political issues to life? How do they shape social power structures and discourses? What social and political potential lies dormant in digital gaming cultures? And how can we develop games that take everyone into account? We want to find answers to these questions - in talks, workshops, shows and our exhibition. Be there!
