Popchor Mannheim: Jubiläumskonzert "You Can't Stop the Beat!"

The Popchor Mannheim cordially invites you to its anniversary concert under the motto "You can't stop the beat" on Saturday, October 26 at 7:00 pm and on Sunday, October 27 at 5:00 pm in the Kaisergarten (Zehntstraße 28, Mannheim).

Under the direction of Christina Bandic and Carsten Wegner, a varied program with songs from 20 years of pop choir history and new arrangements will be offered, including excerpts from musicals such as "Footloose", "Hairspray" or "The Rocky Horror Show", famous film music classics as well as well-known songs by Queen, Coldplay or Imagine Dragons. The 25 singers will be accompanied by the live band "Lewczuk & Friends".

The Popchor Mannheim is looking forward to welcoming a large number of people and invites interested singers to join the choir after the concert. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. in the Liedertafel rooms, K2 31, 3rd floor.

About the Popchor Mannheim

For over 20 years, the pop choir belonged to the Protestant community in the Neckarstadt and was an integral part of the "Musik an Melanchthon" program. In the spring of this year, the pop choir broke away from its previous structure and has since organized itself independently - choir management, finances and concert planning are now taken over by the members.
