Frank is a soldier and controls drones in his home office to bomb targets in a dictatorship, the country "A Middle Without End". But he is hit by an old curse: his son is born without a bottom. Frank sets off on a journey to the east. He wants to get to the place he bombed - in search of knowledge. In the process, he gets deeper and deeper into a world of ghosts that makes him understand history, guilt and responsibility anew. In "Posthuman Condition", playwright Pat To Yan, born in Hong Kong in 1975, describes the structures of a dictatorship and what "being human" means when it is threatened by profound social and technological upheavals.
