Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt
Conductor: Sebastian Tewinkel
OHRPHON moderation: Stephan Holzapfel and Anne Kathrin Meier
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Symphony No. 41 in C major K. 551 "Jupiter Symphony"
The instruments are tuned and the orchestra gets ready. It becomes quiet in the hall and the rehearsal can begin. Two music mediators explain what is happening on stage: from piano and forte to pizzicato. How does communication in the orchestra work during the rehearsal? What do the conductor's gestures mean? But before the time comes, the participants are given an introduction to what to expect in the foyer and are provided with audio guides. During the orchestra rehearsal, they will then hear explanations of what is happening on stage and background information about the music, the composer, the musicians and the conductor.
