Puppet theater based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm

The mother lovingly puts the little red cap on her little girl's head before Little Red Riding Hood sets off into the forest with her basket. She wants to bring cake and wine to her sick grandmother. "Always stay on the path," says her mother, "because the forest is big and dangerous!"

Little Red Riding Hood walks off happily, and she also wants to heed her mother's warning. But then she meets this friendly wolf who suggests giving her grandmother a beautiful bouquet of flowers - and that can't be wrong, can it? Do you always have to do what the grown-ups want? And why do they always know everything better?

Stephan Siegfried plays all the roles in this adaptation of the classic fairy tale: He is the narrator, the grandmother, mother Hannelore, daughter Little Red Riding Hood, the hunter's friend Helmut and, above all, the wolf, a shaggy entertainer who pulls out all the stops: charming, dangerous and, unfortunately, also rather dorky. He therefore falls for the hunter's ruse and the story comes to a well-deserved happy ending for everyone involved except the wolf. "Little Red Riding Hood" is a puppet show for children aged four and over that tells the story of being stubborn and encountering all kinds of dangers.

This production was originally developed at the Deutsch-Sorbisches Volkstheater Bautzen.

For every family performance of this production, either the cable car or the specially arranged shuttle bus will take you there and back. Use is included in the price of every theater ticket. Which means of transport will be used will be clearly indicated on the website for each performance. Of course, as usual, the use of all public transport in the VRM is also included in the ticket price. Different conditions apply to school performances, which will also be published in good time.
