Quatsch Comedy Hot Shot

In the Quatsch Comedy Hot Shot, a well-known comedian presents several up-and-coming comedy talents. They only have six minutes to convince the audience - the applause decides who goes through to the next round!

Promoting young talent has always been very important to Quatsch Comedy Club founder Thomas Hermanns. In 2003, the "Talentschmiede", today's Quatsch Comedy Hot Shot, was launched. Here, an experienced comedian presents the country's best comedy newcomers on the world-famous stage of the Quatsch Comedy Club. Around 1,000 participants from all over the world have tried their hand on our stage in recent years. These include names such as Felix Lobrecht, Ben Schmid, Tobias Freudenthal and, of course, the well-known Cindy aus Marzahn.

Each contestant has just six minutes to prove that they really deserve the coveted title of "Hot Shot". The audience takes on the role of talent scouts and applauds to decide who will progress to the next round in the battle for the title of "Quatsch Comedy Hot". Anyone who manages to be voted the audience's favorite three times in a row at the shows receives the "golden ticket" and is allowed to perform in the legendary Quatsch Comedy Club live show.
