In three lecture performances, Rabih Mroué interrogates countless anonymous and personal documents such as cell phone videos, newspaper articles and eyewitness accounts. Can art objects become objects of threat? What is the truth of the reconstructed reality of a landscape believed to be lost? And what do cell phone recordings of the Syrian revolution have to do with our relationship to death?
