Rahim Redcar has caused a sensation in recent years, particularly as Christine and the Queens (CATQ), and has given us dozens of songs for eternity. However, playing with identities has always been part of the concept and fascination of this musician, who is now on the road as Rahim Redcar and gave us what the world really urgently needs at the end of September: "HOPECORE".
This is the name of Rahim Redcar's seven-song album, which is a little darker, more electronic, but also more danceable than the CATQ sound. Songs such as "DEEP HOLES" and "ELEVATE" in particular combine modern techno sounds with pop, soulful elements and the cold, fascinating pressure of electronic body music. This was followed a few weeks later by the new single "No Genius" by Spanish artist Raissa, which features Rahim Redcar as a guest.
How Rahim Redcar will translate the unique atmosphere of the "HOPECORE" album live and whether one will really be filled with hope when looking at this troubled world can soon be checked out in Berlin. He will be playing at the Lido in Berlin in December. An intimate setting in which you rarely see an artist of his stature.
