Raphael Rack - Farbenlehre

Raphael Rack's works are characterized by an impressive feel and explosive colourfulness that captivate the viewer. Rack describes his paintings as an expression of the "flow of life", in which different affects and moods are interwoven. Through numerous layers of paint, targeted blurring and partial erosion, he creates a high level of abstraction that increases with every step of the process.

Raphael Rack's paintings show us a strong self-confidence and the will to create something that appears flourishing, radiant, powerful and exotic to the observer. Rack deliberately dispenses with picture titles in order to give viewers the freedom to develop their own associations. A central concern of his art is to convey hope and joie de vivre.

The vernissage will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 7 pm.

The artist will be present in person that evening.
