The magic of a May night - Bomsori Kim plays Szymanowski's 1st Violin Concerto
Can you sing a May night? Force all the sensory impressions into a melody? No, you can't, decides Karol Szymanowski and writes a violin concerto, detached from the tonal system. But it still sounds like Mainacht. On October 5, the Polish conductor Marta Gardolińska will be on the podium. In addition to the violin concerto, the program also includes Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Symphony No. 3 and Bacewicz's Overture for Orchestra.
