Sascha im Quadrat has been held in the Capitol Mannheim casino since 2012. As has been customary for over a decade, Sascha Kleinophorst, Sascha Krebs, Frank Schäffer and Christof Brill will invite a musical guest once a month in 2025. They will play whatever is fun. Unique cover versions of well-known songs meet incomparable humor.

The series has now achieved cult status - not least because of the ROCKTzuHAUSE streams during the two lockdowns.

Guest in April: Blacky P. Schwarz
Blacky P. Schwarz has been on stage since 1980 and has been the man on the keys in countless bands since then.
As a member of the Junior Spencer Group, keyboardist and songwriter for Paddy goes to Holyhead, co-founder of US & Band with Stephan Ullmann, after tours with Brosis and the No Angels, concerts with Götz von Sydow, the Hooters, Ede Tylkowski, Michael 'Kosho' Koschorreck, Stephan Zobeley and as a producer for the Jazz Pistols, he can look back on an exciting time.
Since 2023, the pianist and singer has been on the road with Mannheim percussionist Gero Fei as the duo "Schwarz-Feiß". In his performances as a solo artist, he interprets his favorite songs in his own fascinating style. In his varied programs, songs by Billy Joel, Steely Dan, Supertramp, Randy Newman, Marc Cohn, Elton John and many others sound refreshingly new. The mixture of energetic piano playing and expressive, distinctive voice forms an irresistible unit that knows how to inspire the audience and inevitably casts a spell over them.

Who are the Saschas?
Sascha Kleinophorst has toured with many rock bands, including as frontman of the Brass Machine throughout Germany and several appearances at the legendary jazz festival in Montreux. Like his partner in crime Sascha Krebs, he is also a long-standing member of the Capitol Ensemble with a large fan base. The fact that "little Sascha", as Sascha Krebs is also affectionately known, rocks just as much in an intimate setting as he does on the big stages with his band "The Queen Kings" is part of the success of Sascha im Quadrat.
They are congenially accompanied by Frank Schäffer on piano and Christof Brill on guitar! We at Capitol love our boys!
