SCHIRKOA - IN LIES WE TRUST tells the story of a highly developed, dystopian world in which people are forced to wear paper bags over their heads to avoid conflict. When rumors arise about a mythical land where
where people live without the paper bags, which erase all individuality, tensions rise. And yet the ignorant, anonymous citizen 197A - a new member of the
ruling council - accidentally triggers a revolution.

The film was shot entirely in Unreal Engine, a technology that uses real-time rendering to save time and resources during production. This technology allows filmmakers great creativity and flexibility while helping to drastically reduce the carbon footprint.
