Over 10 years of loud punk rock, sweaty clubs, many kilometers, long nights, glued stages, spilled beers, countless highlights and just barely averted disasters!
To ensure that this remains the case even after the corona-induced emergency stop, the veteran team (ok...Nico doesn't count!) has made a virtue of necessity and has been busy working on new songs, a new sound and new ideas in the home office. In 2018, our album "Persona non grata" was released just in time for the first full decade of Screwjetz! "PrettyInNoise" described the whole thing with the words: "We're dealing here with a pure, German-language punk album that gets by completely without nonsensical, youthful revolutionary ideas and dull platitudes." And
The "AwayFromLife" follows up with the conclusion "For all those who like melodic punk rock paired with alternative rock, this is a record you shouldn't pass by. On Persona Non Grata, everything just fits together, the instruments, the vocals, the feeling, the lyrics - simply everything." That makes you thank them directly for
the flowers. Especially when "Herz aus Gold", an album track on Spotify with more than 25,000 streams, is really taking off!
This was followed shortly afterwards by our singles "Versuchs doch mal mit Leichtathletik", a song of the same name for the "Alarmstufe Rot" initiative, which had campaigned for the cultural and event industry during the pandemic, and last but not least our single "Philipp"! The story of young Philipp, who missed out on the T(h)or and has enjoyed sitting around in the Bundestag ever since.
Incidentally, the Screwjetz are also supporters and members of the "Protest Sounds" network of "Kein Bock auf Nazis"! Taking a stand was and is important to us! Perhaps never as important as today!

Pretty Weird:

Do you know what weird is?
When an Anglicism suddenly appears somewhere in a sentence, that's weird, for example.
Or when you have the feeling that you're experiencing something new, but it still feels very familiar to you... a deja vu at first... but also kind of weird.
Or when four guys get together and throw their different (musical) tastes and backgrounds together... then the result can also be pretty weird.
Weird is basically a matter of personal feeling and opinion... but pretty weird is a band.
And they have written "punkrock extra ordinary" on the package insert. So something with guitar, drums, bass and the basic "do-what-you-want" attitude.
Can't imagine anything under it? Then you should really give it a listen!
You decide whether it's "very special" or "very ordinary". It's fun in any case. I promise.

The rock-pop-punkers from 4ZKB have been making handmade rock music with German-language lyrics since the end of 2017. Despite a relatively young band history, all four musicians have been active for a long time and may be known from bands such as Elfmorgen, Raketenklee, Conmoto (Bubonix) or Red Flag.

After the release of their first record "Eigentlich müsste man mal", they performed on numerous stages in a very short time and provided high-quality entertainment based on their experience.

In 2020, they were able to prove their flexibility due to the coronavirus and presented their songs in an acoustic setting without further ado. In addition to various live-streamed internet appearances, they also played at various rallies and demonstrations and used their music to draw attention to the refugee situation in Camp Moria, among other things. They have even released several new albums in this context.

In spring 2021, they made another successful contribution to German-language rock music with their second studio album "Lasst Liebe regieren". Positive reviews of the new album, which can be described as a symbiosis of rock, punk and hit pop music, were already trickling in before its release. Lyrically, the boys have succeeded in putting socially critical and societal themes into a suitable guise for listeners without coming across as cheesy! 4ZKB let love reign and offer space for young and old, pop and rock in their shared flat, uniting everything that belongs together! A concept with a future.
