An old manuscript, reconstructed from 28 fragments by medieval researcher Emanuele Arioli over the course of ten years of Europe-wide research, reveals a world sensation: the legend of the knight Ségurant, another member of the Arthurian Circle.

Of all the Arthurian knights, Ségurant is perhaps the most contemporary. Although he remains undefeated in jousting and sword fighting, he is not satisfied. Enchanted by the fairy Morgane, he chases after an imaginary dragon that he cannot find. In search of eternal glory, he finally disappears and is - forgotten.

Literary historian Cora Dietl and editor Hannes Fricke investigate the sensational reconstruction of a manuscript that was thought to be lost.
