Two years after La Veneno's death, Valeria, a journalist and also transsexual, finds a tape on which six transsexuals talk about their lives in Spain in the early 1980s. These experiences inspire Valeria to write a new book in which she wants to tell the stories of women who do not deserve to be forgotten. "Vestidas de Azul" retains the same narrative structure as its predecessor series "Veneno" by interweaving the lives of the protagonists in the present and the past.
