Siedlerfest

In the organizer's words:

The Settlers' Festival is the highlight of all celebrations and festivals in our district. It always takes place on the 2nd weekend in September. Beforehand, the district association organizes the senior citizens' afternoon for the city of Heidelberg on the Saturday of the settlers' festival. The Settlers' Festival itself officially begins on Saturday evening with the tapping of the keg and a varied program. Sunday begins with a morning pint and continues with an afternoon and evening program. On Monday, after the morning pint, there is the traditional knuckle dinner, for which many companies also give their employees "time off". The event concludes with a colorful evening.
Throughout the Settlers' Festival, there are several showmen on the fairground, providing additional entertainment for young and old.

The festival has been held in and around the Gesellschaftshaus since 2006.
