Silent Sessions im Britzer Garten // feat. Oktober + Ora Blu

Silent Sessions, is an interactive concert experience in one of Berlin's most beautiful parks.

Participants are treated to highly talented artists on 2 stages and guided through the beautiful park by wandering live musicians. The Silent Sessions (so called because of the use of headphones instead of large speaker systems) are a way to connect with the natural surroundings and enjoy live music without disturbing the resident birds and animals. The natural setting is emphasized and the focus is on the connection between performance and space.

Entry to the concerts is included in park admission, but a separate, free booking is required via our website so we know how many people to expect. There is a maximum of 200 places available.

We recommend that attendees bring their own picnic baskets and portable seating such as rugs or folding stools. Each event consists of two 45-minute concerts at different locations and a walk between the two concerts.

The perfect way to spend a warm summer evening!

Please note:
The Silent Sessions are included in the price of park admission. However, this means that you need a valid ticket for the park (€3). There are 3 ways to do this...
1. arrive early and buy tickets at the ticket office. These are open until 6pm. This way you can enjoy the park until the concert starts.
2. you can buy tickets at the entrance from the ticket machines. However, these only accept cards - cash payment is not possible.
3. you buy the tickets on the Britzer Garten website and scan the barcode when you arrive at the entrance. Tickets can be purchased HERE.

About the Bands!

OKTOBER is Berlin's autumnal singer-songwriter: with flaming red hair, melancholy lyrics and a touching voice, the queer singer sings about the ups and downs of interpersonal relationships. Her mostly acoustic folk-pop songs can be streamed everywhere. Following the release of her debut EP "Everyone's Sorry" in 2023, all of the 25-year-old's previously released songs are now available to buy on vinyl.
She is currently playing many concerts, particularly in and around Berlin, to promote her latest single "People Pleaser" featuring artist Dominique Fricot.

ORA BLU is the Italian term for the blue hour, the moment at dusk or dawn when the sun is just so far below the horizon that the world is bathed in a soft blue light. The Berlin newcomer band ORA BLU has named itself after this phase of the day, in keeping with its dreamy, danceable sound.
From funky basslines and spherical guitars to electro-esque drum beats, the alt-pop trio draws on a variety of genres to define their sound.
The result is a sonic road trip at dawn, a humming evening on a rooftop at dusk or the sound of a balmy summer night on the streets of Berlin. ORA BLU proves that different styles and approaches do not have to lead to contradictions, but can complement each other.
And so ORA BLU sometimes sounds like The Neighbourhood, sometimes like Bonobo, Jungle or Chet Faker - but mostly like a completely unique sound and style creation.

Tickets are free with admission to the park. This means that if you have a season ticket, you can just go there.
