Singer-Songwriter-Abend mit Jo Laureys & Mila

Jo Laureys is 32 years old and was born in Belgium. Since 2015, he has been traveling non-stop to share his music with the whole world. For the first few years of his career, he was mainly a street musician. This took him all over Europe and far beyond. He played in Denmark, Sweden, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Vietnam, New Zealand... Along the way, he gave many concerts in small pubs and cafés or in the living rooms of people he met along the way. Especially in Germany he found a connection to a larger audience. He shared the stage with Adam Barnes, Steph Grace, Tom Klose, Sons Of The East, Joseph & Maia and Nico Laska, among others, and wrote his first EP "Running Low", which he co-wrote and produced with Joseph Thompson. This was released in 2018. Corona forced him to take a 2-year break. He used these 2 years to write many new songs and develop as a musician. His latest releases "firing line" and "as long as youre walking with me" are 2 of the songs he wrote and recorded during the lockdown.

Mila is a 16-year-old singer from near Wuppertal, who mostly composes her own songs in the indie and folk genres. She has always loved making music and not a day goes by without her singing. She started taking piano lessons at the age of 8 until she switched to singing lessons four years later and thus began to live out her great passion. In 2022, she began recording her songs in her room, which had been converted into a home studio, after which she released her first song "Love Letters" in January 2024. Her second single "The Way I Feel For You" followed in July 2024. Writing and composing songs helps her to understand and express her feelings, which is also the reason why she dreams of sharing her music and passion with the whole world . She hopes to move people with her passion and make them feel understood .
