Slam&Drang

In the organizer's words:

Poetry slam is a modern and colorful live literature format in which people compete against each other with texts they have written themselves. The audience alone decides who takes home the victory.

Young talent is at the heart of this versatile format and young talents need stages. That's why Kunst&Krawall welcomes young poets and anyone who wants to set foot on a slam stage for the first time to the Alte Feuerwache (Marchlewskistraße 6, Friedrichshain) every two months.

Beforehand, the two presenters Annette Flemig and Birdy will give a workshop on creative writing and performing from 4 pm. With this fine-tuning, our rough diamonds can then sparkle on stage!

Box Office recommendation 8€ regular, 5€ reduced
Workshop: 16.00 (participation free of charge)

At our Box Office, the principle applies: everyone gives what they can, and those who can are happy to give more! Because our events should remain accessible to everyone despite rising prices.

This means
1. our box office prices are guidelines.
2. everyone gives what they can. No one has to justify themselves. Our admission staff will not ask if you give less.
3. there is a solidarity box at the entrance. If you can give more, you are welcome to leave us a small donation for people who can afford less and for the culture.
