Wine, vibes and song
Nothing in the air but hands, melody and rhythm. Sounds, hot breath, loudspeakers and spotlights - that's what a songslam feels like. Six singers/songwriters face your judgment, you reward them with your applause.
Anything is possible on these evenings: chanson, acoustic punk, musical cabaret or bluegrass flamenco indiecore. One hundred and twenty minutes of over-the-top competition with handmade music and real emotions in the large hall of the Heimathafen. It's all about cheers, fame, honor, booze and a bag of throat gold. The principles are: No bands, no show dancers, no covers and certainly no plastic. The country's biggest songslam is hosted by the two Berlin slam andreading stage authors Tilman Birr and Piet Weber.
