In the next round, the debate format Streit & Zuversicht by ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS, Heimathafen Neukölln and Holtzbrinck Berlin is dedicated to the question: "Is AI destroying or inspiring the creative industry?"

The rapid development of artificial intelligence poses major challenges for the creative industry: Will AI enrich the creative process or cost people their jobs? While some see AI as an opportunity for optimization and new forms of expression, others fear that creative diversity will be lost as creatives are excluded from the design process.

The use of AI in the creative industry also brings ethical and social issues into focus: is it responsible for AI to clone human voices? How can intellectual property be protected when AI increasingly takes over tasks? And how do trade unions need to rethink in order to protect the rights of creatives?

Streit & Zuversicht invites you to be part of this exciting debate. Two opposing opinions meet, presented and argued by debaters from the Berlin Debating Union. Experts from the cultural and creative industries as well as from the fields of digitalization and philosophy will shed light on the technological, ethical and social issues raised by the use of AI in the creative industries. Join us as we once again create a space for doubt and new perspectives.
