Willi is 18 and lives on the streets. With no direction, he drifts through the city, always on the move. He meets people like the journalist Frank, who wants to help him, or the sleazy petty thug Theo, who wants to send him out on the streets. When Willi meets Monika, who is even worse off than he is, he wants to help her because she wants nothing from him and he can give her something...
