Performance at: 4.30 pm, 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm
Based on an idea by Hungarian director Pál Kalman from the Karzat Theater and first staged by director Adrian Schvarzstein in 2016, "Sweet Home on Wheels" is an absurd and comical piece of street theater in which slapstick situations are strung together like pearls on a string. In a version specially developed for SHALOM-MUSIK.KOELN, visitors witness a "tête-à-tête" relationship between an elderly Jewish couple living in an old caravan. The difficult living conditions in the camper repeatedly disrupt the harmony in the "old world made of old things" in which the couple lives. The play manages almost without words and is accompanied by klezmer sounds.
