Ghent-based artist Sylvie Kreusch is fast becoming one of Europe's most impressive and electrifying artists. Her groundbreaking music and visuals have already turned many heads in the fields of music, film and fashion. Her new album "Comic Trip" will be released on 08.11.

Kreusch is known for her brutal, expressive lyricism and her keen sense for experimental and pop styles. Over the past ten years, Kreusch has made waves in Belgium with art-rockers Soldier's Heart and Warhaus, the solo project of Maarten Devoldere of Balthazar. Following the release of their debut EP BADA BING! BADA BOOM!, her artistic vision fully blossomed in 2021 on her captivating, critically acclaimed debut album Montbray. On her breakthrough album Montbray, Sylvie Kreusch illustrates heartbreak with the suspense and thrills of a spy thriller. To say that the Belgian artist has a flair for the dramatic would be a gross understatement. Wherever Sylvie Kreusch appears, she is followed by superlatives like a tail of fire.

During her tour of Montbray, she strolled across the stage like a mysterious international woman in purple, a creature of pure celluloid that has somehow found its way into our tangible world. But once upon a time... a girl who dreamed in her grandmother's attic and whose bright eyes were completely absorbed in a collection of old comics. For young Sylvie, these colorful, fantastical stories were the gateway to a magical place, far away from the troubles of reality. Every time she turned the page, it was full of wonder, possibility and excitement.
