TISCHGESPRÄCHE #2 - Über Kunst und die Welt miteinander reden

In the organizer's words:

In shared kitchens, beer gardens or at family celebrations - the table is much more than just the center for eating and drinking. It becomes a temporary or permanent place of exchange where we negotiate topics that move us.

In her project Table Talks, Würzburg artist Ines Schwerd explores what table culture can mean today. How consciously do we eat, speak or behave "at the table"? At what moments do we engage in conversation with other people? What do we talk about and where do these conversations lead us?

In addition to 12 pictures, which she presents in the GESELLSCHAFTSRAUM, on two evenings the artist invites people to actual table conversationsat a large table in the GESELLSCHAFTSRAUM. All participants come together to eat and talk in a relaxed atmosphere - about art, society and everything that moves us. The works of Ines Schwerd and the vegan menu created especially for the table discussions by chef and beer sommelier Clarissa Juse serve as inspiration. The participatory evenings themselves become part of the Table Talksproject. There are no right or wrong topics. The outcome is open. The focus is on the experience
