Is trash TV just a guilty pleasure? Not for us!

We are Dinah, Risa and Franzi, we are psychologists, and in our weekly podcast Trashologinnen we take a psychological look at the most popular trash TV formats from Germany.
Our mission is clear: we want psychology to be accessible to everyone. We do this by explaining complex topics relating to psychology using trash TV.

The Summer House, Are you the One and The Bachelors provide the examples, and we use these examples to talk about the psychological background to the topics that interest us all: Love, friendship, betrayal, group formations, discrimination, power and mental health.
We are certain that science does not have to be dry, boring and tough! Everything is easy when people can explain something clearly and simply - and that's exactly what we want to be for you.
