In the midst of this mood of upheaval, the OSTKREUZ agency was founded in 1990 by photographers from the former GDR. On display are works by co-founders Sibylle Bergemann, Harald Hauswald, Ute Mahler and Werner Mahler, as well as by members Annette Hauschild, Thomas Meyer, Jordis Antonia Schlösser, Anne Schönharting and Maurice Weiss, who have been part of the renowned photographer collective since the 1990s.
