At a time when fact-checking is being undermined, LGBTQ+ people are allowed to be labeled "sick" and totalitarian regimes are shaking our trust, critical questioning is more important than ever. The political situation in Georgia, characterized by increasing repression and ongoing protests, sheds a disturbing light on the challenges facing free societies. In their works, the artists Saelia Aparicio (England), Gonzalo Garcia (Mexico) and Rusudan Khizanishvili (Georgia) explore the themes of vulnerability, power and trust. Through powerful visual statements, they shed light on control mechanisms, social dramas and the spaces between rigid dualities, opening up hope and new perspectives.
