U20 Poetry Slam
Microphones free for Munich's up-and-coming poets!

The stars of the poetry slam scene have been filling the large theater for many years. Now Munich's up-and-coming slam poets are finally taking center stage. From now on, young people up to the age of 20 will have a stage at the Volkstheater at the U20 Poetry Slam.
Whether serious or funny, personal or socially critical - your story, your poem, your performance is important and will be heard.
Well-known German slam stars will heat things up as special guests for our young protagonists, while Munich slam pioneer Ko Bylanzky and a guest presenter will guide you through the evening.

Workshops for U20 poetry slammers!
Do you write lyrics or would you like to give it a try and are between 14 and 20 years old? Do you like poetry slam or are you curious to get to know the literary stage format of today? Then you are no longer alone, because here is a group of young people who feel the same way. And here are the professional poetry slammers who know the answers to your questions, show you how to develop your ideas into texts or get your text ready for the stage and present it at the new U20 Poetry Slam at the Volkstheater, for example. Of course you can also just attend the workshop without performing, no one will be pressured into it, but everyone will be helped in the writing and/or performance process. And it's completely free of charge.
