Bans on gender-inclusive language, mobilizations against queer education and protests against abortions - all of this is a reality in Germany in 2024. These events have a common core: anti-feminism. However, anti-feminism is not a new phenomenon, but has a long history. In her lecture, Rebekka Blum (Protestant University of Applied Sciences Freiburg) will show the fundamental mode of action of anti-feminism, look at historical developments and highlight the links that can be made to current debates.
