The normalization of racist and anti-democratic politics poses a growing danger. Anti-human resentment is becoming more acceptable; migrant and non-white people in Germany are increasingly being denied a sense of belonging. While political firewalls are being put to the test even more with the state elections in Saxony, Brandenburg and Thuringia, we ask:
What do alliances need to proactively counter the strengthening of far-right movements?
At the JIK Talks 2024, we are looking for new impulses: How can we act together and what can each individual do now to act in solidarity? Because right now, we need a civil society alliance that is committed to equal post-migrant coexistence.
